It doesn't really matter if he said it or not, but if you're going to make
an argument based on a quote from a famous person, you'd better be ready to
provide a reference.
Many of these kinds of quotes turn out to be rumors started by opponents.
If you don't verify the source, you end up looking silling spreading urban
legends.
