What's a racist comment? Any legalistic heuristic is bound to be
inadequate in some situations. It's a lot like asking what's a rude
comment. That's no coincidence.
The Reed thing IMO falls into both categories, as does does the Ripple
thing. The appropriate response is pretty much 'f*ck off' and that's
largely the response we're seeing. The inappropriate response is
attempting to 'enlighten these wrongdoers' or appealing to some higher
authority to smite them. Nah. Save that for people who are dead
serious instead of the ones playing troll-the-bleeding-hearts.
Now if you Yanks, Tweeds, Mics, Jackaroos, Svens, Krauts, and
Californians excuse me, there's a bottle of Stoli and a chess game I
