After a good night's sleep, I realized my boo-boo. In a response to Mike Lorrey about Ayn Rand, I attributed to Ayn Rand saying something about not wanting all-out anarchy because she couldn't trust people the way she could trust herself.
When my brain was scanning for "unpleasant, evil woman of-a-certain-age" - it came up with Ayn Rand for that quote ... but it was Madalyn Murray-O'Hair who said it. Ayn Rand was already in my mind, so I should have brushed her aside from my mind's eye and seen that it was Maddie, all along.
May they both rest in peace.
