You make it sound like it's something major. Your ISP reserves several
MBytes space for you already, just upload the file and tell the URL.
If you want it really fancy, get DSL and run a webserver on your home
machine, with a redirectioni URL to it if you don't have a static IP.
Either way round, sending attachements to a ML is not the way to do it. My
academic ISP has started filtering out executable attachements (.doc
included), after they realized that the bulk of executable attachements
passing through the mailserver was worms and viruses.
