What's highly dependent on altitude? The moon does not orbit the
center of the Earth it orbits a point a few hundred miles offset
because the moon is very massive and so to a limited degree
the earth tries to orbit the moon. A warhead is a bit less massive
than the moon but it wouldn't orbit the center of the Earth either
because to a limited degree the Earth would try to orbit the
warhead, the orbital point would be offset from the Earth's
center, probably about the width of a proton.
