It certainly seems the case to me that, for the most
part, capitalism arises from freedom, from each person
implicitly following the axiom "Let no one be the first
to initiate use of force, except in the defense of
private property". Taxation, on the other hand, cannot
take place without men with guns coming onto someone
else's property and extorting payment. People who favor
redistribution schemes should certainly admit that that's
what their proposals imply.
