I recommend that anyone with an Adobe publishing product change to its
equivalent Corel product.
Ventura is far better than both Page Maker, Frame Maker AND InDesign
combined, Draw is as good as or better than Illustrator, and PhotoPaint
can do anything PhotoShop can do. All Corel products come with features
that you can only get with an Adobe product if you buy expensive
plug-ins. Many of these products can already be obtained for use on
Linux (did I mention that Corel has its own flavor of Linux too? CLOS)
as Word Perfect can, and all are slated to be Linux compatible by
sometime next year.
I predict that if Adobe gets clobbered, that Corel will win as a result
(and Corel is trading at just a few bucks a share at the moment).
