RE: Faith without works is dead

Party of Citizens, would you please clarify why you use the phrase "Extropian Religion". In that Extropy is not a religion, this platitudial phrasing is misleading. I have also noticed that you have cc'd posts to a religious email list while including posts from other list subscribers.

I'm not sure if you are a religous person and need to use religous terminology in your posts to help you understand the world around you; if you are being condescending and this phrasing is your way of attempting to unnerve various list subscribers; or if you have a vastly satirical sense of humor.

If you have explained this already, I haven't read it; or maybe I am missing a punch line.

Thank you,

Natasha Vita-More

I think this Bush "faith-based public works" is fine as long as it is
allowed on a big enough scale (eg to include village and city planning
according to faith) and is open to ALL religions including Extropian
Religion.

No I don't but I also don't think the Forbidden City was built just for
Buddhists though it was a Buddhist monk who designed it. I think it would
be wise for China to "let 100 flowers bloom" in a contest to design a
"Culture of Life".

If we were to design a city with surroundings according to a George Bush "Culture of Life" would it be the same as a Vatican "Culture of Life"? Can the Bush Administration even with the help of HUD or Vatican with the help of 1,000,000,000 Roman Catholics tell us what
their Culture of Life would be like?
