I still hafta eat my words: the Mercury News reported the
success on the front page. The overall article was extremely
negative however. The only actual photograph is of a protestor.
The Merc has shifted its attack from 'this cannot be done' to
'this should not be done.'
Kinda makes you wonder what would be the chants at the
anti-ABM protest: Save the Nukes Now? Up with Mutual
Assured Destruction? Our Nukes Will Keep Us Safe
Forever?
