Doh! The Exi-bay folks were to see this tonight, but the best
laid plans gang aft agley. I went over at about 1600 to purchase
tickets for the 2000 show and found it was sold out. So I called
the sushi place where we were to meet at 1800 but the young
lady who answered the phone spoke only a little english.
So you can imagine me trying to get across the following
message to the e-x-t-r-o-p-i-a-n-s:
*eight*oclock*show*sold*out* and having verrrry
limited success, dammit. {8-[
Exi-bayers, I humbly apologize for not knowing that show
would fill up. I am surprised: the newspaper movie reviewers pretty
much unanimously hated it. I am not a movie goer, perhaps
one a year or so, and never on a Friday night. I do hope
that message got thru before you chased over to the Mercado
only to be disappointed. I should have gone over to the
sushi place, but Shelly is a vegetarian so I took her out
for burritos. spike
