Some of us consider imposing meaningless labeling requirements
to be quite "paternalistic". Nor is labeling innocent. It can
pervert the understanding and spread FUD. For instance, men who
could be treated with a cold virus vector for tagging and making
prostate cancer cells more treatable would by currently
proposals be labeled "genetically modified humans". A bit over
the top, isn't it?
