IBM builds 210-GHz transistor in SiGe process

It occurs to me that if somebody really can mass produce something
like this transistor in two years as IBM claims it will then it might be just
the thing to make Time Domain's ultra wide band technology practical.
If so we'd have nearly unlimited wireless bandwidth, and all that money cell
phone companies paid in auctions to get control of various parts of the
spectrum would turn out to be a very bad investment, I mean even worse
than it seems to be now.
