Anne Marie, the way that this is stated it sounds like you believe
that nasty, slimy and self interested can all fit on the same axis.
Perhaps we can combine nasty and slimy, but self-interested is
an entirely different axis, not necessarily a function of nasty or slimy.
The beauty of capitalism, in which you profess to belief, is that
it is a system in which everyone benefits when every individual acts
in her own best interest. It is a system which does not depend on
altruism, but rather good old reliable self interest. It works! Tryyy
