Ah depends. Movies can be 'cult classics', meaning they have a solid if
small core of rabid fans. Rocky Horror, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes,
Plan 9 from Outer Space, Brazil, Army of Darkness, you know, the great
works of celluloid... we can't of course be a 'classic' if we are
cutting edge. The Singularity, as a concept, is, by now, a 'cult
classic' concept of science fiction. To thoroughly confuse the issue,
all we need now is a B Grade movie to be made about a technological
singularity...... then we can be a 'instant cult classic'..... and all
their mean little slights will be meaningless.....
