A revived Extropy magazine would require a sufficient staff, and some decent funding. I, too, miss the printed magazine. Whether it still has a place will depend on where ExI is headed into 2002 and beyond. That's something that I've been giving much thought to lately.

I wonder if it would be possible for a revived Extropy magazine to be produced on a national level by entering into a partnership with an established publishing company? Could creative control still be largely in the hands of the Extropy Institute? Would the magazine have to be "dumbed down" for mass media consumption? Could we succeed where Omni magazine failed?
I hope people will consider this idea before simply saying it can't be done. I realize ExI gets alot of media coverage already with Wired magazine, etc. but this could go one big step better.
best wishes,
John
P.S. I can't wait to attend the Extro! San Jose here I come! :)
