Beyond Human : the PBS Series

There were 2 one-hour PBS programs airing here in Houston last night that
both dealt with how the future of humanity was bascially a cyborg future.
Great stuff. I saw some interviews: Moravec, and yes, Bill Joy got his say.
I was only able to watch about 20 minutes, and so will tape the reruns over
the next two nights. The show was unabashedly positive with respect to the
Cyborg future of humanity and the implications of that future. It was
basically an advertisement for using tech to transform ourselves into
posthumans. Appended below are the synopses and future times for showings
here in Houston.
