Thanks for the report. I am surprised that the bioethicists thought genetic
augmentation was a big overblown yawn. Is the thinking that the technology
to do so is too distant to be of concern now? I can't imagine bioethicists
thinking, e.g., that an attempt to augment the neocortex by doubling its
size could be a yawning matter. Mark
