Subject: [Robot-for-President] Robonics
I marvel that homo sapiens invented something as important to the species
as language and then lost the rule book. Thus we are still unable to
program a robot to speak English. We could, however, invent a new,
scientific English for robo sapiens. If humans can invent Ebonics they
can invent Robonics. Robonics would be a language for which all of the
rules would be known. But my question is this: Can we develop a version of
Robonics with rules which are sufficiently inclusive so that no important
meaning would be lost when we translate from standard English into
Robonics? I would very much appreciate your opinions on this.
