I'm pretty sure I've read someplace that he is against any radical
engineering (perhaps even 'religious' { whatever that means }).

There is a nightclub in Moscow called the "Titanic", where looking like
Worf would probably function quite well as a lifespan extension treatment.
There is another one called the "Hungry Duck" where looking like Lt. Riker
would have some very pleasant benefits as well.
