I put "liberal" in quotes for a reason, because I see all these reductive
qualifyers as intrinsicly prejudical.

Speaking as a card-carrying member of the Liberal Party[1], I find your
subject line ('what "liberals" know') deeply insulting.
Given that the body of the article was about politicians in general, I
don't see why you had to pollute a perfectly good satirical rant with
ad hominem attacks on a straw man enemy.
You're not likely to make converts that way, you know.
