NASA announced cuts to X-33, X-34, the space-station, and future mars
missions. It appears that we are about to undergo a renewed era of
restricted space travel. I also am hearing rumblings from the GOP
that they want to divert space funds and initiatives away from NASA
and to the military. I think they would like to see space developed
within the military branches instead of a separate space agency.
