Thanks very much for the support, folks. I didn't think that I
was the only one annoyed by the quote lengths, but it's nice to
have confirmation.
For those frequent posters with long quote passages: Here's
a suggestion for a different perspective. An educational exercise,
if you will.

If you want your words to be buried like that, then it's up to you. However
you tend to bury other people's words as well, because it's pretty difficult
to find anything at all in that clutter. Why waste perfectly good bits?
