Or like having a part of your brain-body ripped out. Mayhem, or grievous
injury, in the legal sense.

The day will come when some cop somewhere, or some other authority
figure, attempts to disable someone else's memory-prosthesis
appurtenance, and five years later winds up before the Supreme Court.
Speed the day. Me, I sometimes think about getting diagnosed with a
memory problem, then using the ADA.
