That's Belousov-Zhabotinski.
Dr Jack Cohen ran such a preparation in front of our goggling eyes during
an entertaining lecture when he and I were guest speakers at a New Zealand
conference for science teachers. He didn't really expect it to work on such
an ad hoc basis, but it did, and went down a treat.
