Another scenario: Drug dealer gets arrested, and cuts a deal by
providing the 'address' to his supplier, which is actually the home of a
law abiding individual. Police raid the house with a swat team, shoot
first and ask questions later, the occupant being unable to defend
themselves.
Finally: Smart hacker figures out the signal to disarm guns, and sells
such devices over the net. Gangs use these devices to disarm the
potential guns in a home they've staked out so they know they will meet
no armed defenders. They rob the house and knife the occupants to
eliminate witnesses.
Angered ex-husband buys such a device and disarms his ex-wife so he can
kill her with a hand made zip gun.
