Nicely put.
Yes you can run voice over the Internet, but not very many at the
same time. The fact is that the bandwidth of the telecommunications
infrastructure is many thousands of times greater than that of the
Internet. In fact that infrastructure is just one of the networks
that makes up the Internet.
Thats all I meant...
Voice over IP is a hot topic at TPC. At a recent meeting about it,
several of the new managers suggested pursuing it full bore. I
suggested they take an existing site (preferrably there own ;)) and
run an extended trial.
Don't get me wrong, it's easy to do if your willing to spend the
money, hey I'm easy, but I'm not cheap.
But you can bet we'll be offering it if anyone's interested.
