This says the only reason to want to be strong or pretty is to be stronger
or prettier (or even the strongest or prettiest).
I think that it's worth a lot to be strong or pretty, even if everyone else
is. It think of strength as an aspect of competent and capable.
Pretty just means pleasing to look at, and it's nice to be pleasing to look
at as well as to be surrounded by people who are pleasing to look at. I
hope you don't think we'll all look the same if we can all be good looking.
