I think the concept of prefixes is very good. I don't know that they
should be forced, but they make sorting and filtering the list easier.
One comment on using asterisks to avoid filters (as in G*NS): This
is usually acceptable when making a passing reference to a subject
and you don't want to get caught in the filters. It is not
acceptable to do this on an actual g*n post to sneak it past
somebody's filters. This makes it deliberate spam, delivering it to
people who you know don't want to see it.
