The Econonomist's annual flagship publication, The World In 2001, including
my essay, Letter From 2050, is now available on news-stands worldwide. It's
being distributed in 95 countries and translated into 17 languages.
There have been a few queries about online availability. I don't anticipate

a nice teaser site up for the publication, which includes a few articles:
At any rate, the issue is well worth picking up. It's packed with great
articles by noted thinkers, most revolving around predictions for the coming
year.

Best wishes to all,
Bill
