What if I really, honestly, after much soul-searching, see a perfectly
equal lack of benefit in either a Republican or a Democrat being
elected? Furthermore, what if by campaigining for the Greens, I
energize that party and it has even more leverage and self-confidence
in the next election? To a third party, just having a decent showing
in the polls is a partial victory. In my mind, it's Browne running
against Nader, and I want Browne to go on record as getting more votes.
PS: Guess what my Halloween costume is going to be this year? I'll go
as a Republicrat. I'll contact-cement together half a Gore mask to half
a Bush mask, and give the other halves to some housemate of mine so
they could go a my arch-nemesis, the Demopulican.
