Well, there are two (algorithmically similar) ways the clean subject lines
thing can be handled.
1. The Majordomo software can be configured to bounce messages with certain
'bad' words in them, if the list admins agree.
2. If the list admins don't agree, somebody can just subscribe a bot to this
list, have it replace 'racy' words with X's and forward on messages with titles
like...
"Stuffing XXXXXXXXX up your XXX while smoking XXX and XXXXXXXXXXXX Tipper Gore"
...to that bot's subscribers. Everyone who is a kid (or has kids) and wants to
be on a G-rated version of the list can subscribe to the bot. The bot can
also redirect messages back to the list.
