I own a gun, I like my gun, and the last time I remember having a free
afternoon, I spent it at the range putting .45 cal holes in things. I'm
irritated with meddlesome politicians playing on public fears to have the
damn things banned. I'm irritated with officious do-gooders who have never
even touched a gun throwing around broad generalizations and imaginary
statistics.
However, unless we're discussing death-ray guns or nanoflechette guns,
is it really appropriate for like 20% of this list's traffic to be
about this piece of 1920s technology? Aren't there forums specifically
devoted to gun rights? If there are no appropriate ones, perhaps it's
time to start an exi-guns list. I'll certainly join.
