The correct wording could be that uploading fills a NEED that bears an
amazing resemblance to the NEED that religious doctines address: Immortality.
HOW Spiritualists and Singularists percieve this endless life is QUITE
different, though both require a lot of imagination and waiting.

Maybe think of it as
'life after death' vs. 'life life life life...'
