In general I tend to agree that the archives should be allowed to remain
uncut. However, I'm not so sure I'd agree if someone had accused me of the
ridiculous things written by Jamiro. Also, Max is a fairly famous person by
now. All he'd need is for someone from a quality publication like the
National Enquirer to get a hold of that preposterous post and splash an
extrapolation of it across the front page (say for instance if Max decides
to run for political office someday).

My vote: Delete the thread! (Proclaimed with the same gusto and
authoritarianism of Pink Floyd's "Tear down the wall!")
