Before you all get carried away... I'll inject my personal experience. In
my youthful searching, I stumbled across Scientology and joined the Honolulu
Org. I signed a 5 year contract, but only served 3 of it. I was declared a
suppressive person (depressive is closer to the truth!) for not showing up
to work too many times.
The url above is incredibly biased and inaccurate. I got only part-way into
the "A" terms before it was very apparent that this wasn't factual reporting
but just another bit of slander... the exact thing it accuses Scientology of
doing.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a scientologist, nor am I sympathetic to the
religion, but I am interested in facts, not hyperbole and slander. That URL
directly contradicts actual facts... and puts as nasty a spin as possible on
the facts it does get right.
I realize this is an emotional issue... but let cooler heads prevail here.
Lets not go rushing off to find enemies, demons and other creeps behind
every prank post. Further, lets not support thinly disguised religious
bigotry. Scientology is silly enough on it's own merits (or lack of them)
just like any other religion.
