Not logical to lump protesters against genetic engineering in with Luddites,
who are anti-computer and against ALL technology. Yet it appears to be easy
to do.
This crap is just feeding the hysteria which circulates around this issue. I
wish I had not read this post.

I am still researching genetically engineered food, and though highly
optimistic about its features, I am also aware that the ethical issues and
planetary and economic consequences are almost as complicated as those
surruonding nanotechnology.

Though of course I am pro-technology, I am not blind to the downsides, and I
refuse judge either side, avid pro-gens, or the raving anti-gens.

Both have points that are valid, and both sides should avoid raving, foaming
posts.
