Buffalo were good for the pronghorn antelope too. Fortunately,
free-range cattle make an excellent substitute. Unfortunately, the BLM
hasn't figured this out yet and is restricting free-range cattle from many
areas where pronghorn have been grazing in an effort to "save the
antelope".
