I don't know who invented it, but I suspect I'm the one who invented the
meme of using it as shorthand ordinary language for `email address', as in:
`Can you e me his @?' This can be pronounced as `Can you email me his email
address?' but I and some of my pals have started saying simply `Can you ee
me his at?'
