Don't be so quick to label yourself biased. Aren't you just saying that
this is your considered opinion of King's work, arrived at after reading a
number of his novels and finding that those following "FireStarter"
displease you? That's not bias, it's an appropriate expression of your
taste. Bias would be not liking his books because you hated his haircut, or
his acting (easy to do, admittedly, but irrelevant), or he'd run off with
your lover, or you couldn't stand reading anything by rich white guys.
