Which to my mind makes insanity--or, in this case lunacy--the very pinnacle
of originality and personal authenticity.
Thank you Emlyn.

One of the Brians in a recent post wrote of the achievement of both a
highly capable ai and a thorough knowledge of the details of consciousness.
These two would combine to make it possible to successfully "upload" or
otherwise duplicate with true fidelity the phenomenon of consciousness.
The test of true fidelity lies in the accurate duplication of qualia, which
requires the ability to understand--to ef (from "ineffable", which gives
birth to "effable" which gives birth to the verb "to ef")--qualia. Now,
the singular of qualia is quale. So we arrive presently at the situation
where the highly capable ai performs the crucial function known as "effing
quale". (Full function disclaimer inserted here regarding attribution and
accuracy. Thou art directed to search the archives for "effing quale" and
verify for thyself.)
Small note: quale is pronounced KWAH-lay. Nevertheless, in my brain I
hear it--in the context of effing quale--as effing "quail"
Not to be confused with an effing waste of bandwidth.
Blame emlyn, he asked.
Best, Jeff Davis
