I'd tell the AI not to upload us until it could fully understood what
was going on, and could preserve the psychic powers and whatever it was
that was generating them. The reason I say "minor adjustments" is that
an SI shouldn't need to be told that sort of thing explicitly. There's
no need to upload anyone until we've gone over the brain with a
fine-toothed comb and we're absolutely sure we understand what's going
on; if we have psychic powers, they'll turn up when we do the scan.
