True.
But I'm going with the lesser extent, as I feel that's better for the
RPG, and because following the path of the greater extent would result
in me reproducing Mage.
Note though that by 'lesser' I don't mean zero. A big factor in all this
is how much those imprisoned in the Matrix will reinforce its
impositions of their own accord - to the surprise even of the Agents.
This links in closely with my suggestion that the AIs are doing what
they think is best for the humans, as they were programmed to - and this
appears to make them happy, so...
Somewhat cautionary note, of course. And *great* backing for an RPG.
