Writing code we can't understand today? Easy, evolutionary algorithms
already to that very nicely.
Moreover, because of computational physics constraints you can't hope
to run a smart system not on massively parallel hardware. Also,
because of above constraints, you cannot hope to do things a la
silicon compiler. ALife of reconfigurable hardware has to be it.
