I'm also a bit sceptical of the resurrection scenario - fun problem,
but not of any practical relevance until far in the posthuman era.
If we knew it was impossible, then it would have the practical
implication of making ordinary life extension extra important. If we
knew it was possible, then it is not clear that we get an6y practical
results from it since we still don't know if it would be applied to
us, and hence the rational thing would still be to work on life
extension. If it could be shown that it was inevitable, *then* things
would be different, but such a hypothesis seems unfalsifiable and
untestable.
