Yeah, its been happening to me for a while too. I just learned to "stop
casting my pearls before swine" (one of the many valuable lessons I took
with me from my Christian fundamentalist background). I no longer volunteer
such information as "I plan to live forever" or "I can't wait until I can
free my mind from this troublesome body of mine."
Which brings me to my first gushy show of appreciation for the folks on this
list. I am truly thankful for this list and the people on it. I can
discuss concepts here that no one else in my life would show a moments
interest in. I am opinionated and I'm not afraid to say when I disagree
with you (you couldn't tell?), and at times the debates on this list can
become fairly heated. But I do appreciate every one of you, even, no ...
*especially*, those of you with whom I have had differences of opinion. If
we all agreed on *everything* it'd be a pretty boring list.
Thanks Extropians!!!
