That kind of stuff can be purchased these days. I should know: I work
at a place that sells those gadgets as a service.
It's suprising how many things can be bought, if you've got enough money
and know how to find what you're looking for. A growing number of
people have the former, but the latter seems to be sufficiently
difficult that many give it up as impossible for non-common products. I
wonder if that is one of the directions that the 'Net's search engines
will take in the next few years: specializing queries for "how do I
purchase what I want".
