Hmmmm... maybe your gang could build a bare-bones (no data aquisition)
test stand from my piping diagram... and I could, er, salvage an
obsolete engine (if we have such six months from now)... we'd meet a day
or two before to bolt it all together... put on a show... and I'd take
the engine back (in however many pieces it may be).

Never happen. We do, hoever, seriously plan to build a replica of the
X-1 and fly it at places like Oshkosh. Major coolness.
