And being an ex-fundamentalist Christian I can tell you that they have the
problem solved. Their rap is that no one knows the day or the hour of
Christ's return, only that he is coming soon. Soon, like tomorrow, never
comes. So even in another 2000 years if you ask a fundamentalist when the
Rapture is coming he will still be able to say "I don't know, but soon."
