Thanks, Michel. My friends doing digital journalism are basically
reporting the similar needs. I've been involved in discussions with,
and in, foundations that fund this type of work, and among people
pursuing "start-ups" based around digital content communities. I think
this is generally the least understood factor.

In fact, it is likely often a reality that third at least part-time
job could well be that of a developer, depending on the technology
that is needed for the community.
