Hudson's had a rather complex relationship to
Georgism/geolibertarianism.  I recall at one time he was friendly to
prospective attempts by Putin to use land taxation and severance fees
on minerals as the primary funding base for the Russian state -- and
thereby put an end to the transnational corporate "Great Barbecue"
started by Yeltsin.
